Use it in the shop. Accurate. July 12, 2010 Wayne (MD USA) This is an accurate rule that rolls up easily. I've had it more than a year and there are no kinks in it despite regular use in my home woodshop. After using it to mark a length and drawing across the mark with a square I'm able to cut within 0.01 inches using my table saw.
false publicity November 8, 2008 J. Rueda (Houston Tx USA) The tape they send you IS NOT THE CONTRACTOR GRADE that appear in the picture. it is still the Max steel but doesn't have the red rectangle. that indicate is a contractor grade, an make it much durable an better I still keep it because returns take weeks and who has the time ?
Good, but not what the picture shows June 7, 2008 Jackson (Salt Lake City, UT, USA) I love these tape measures. Light, durable, accurate. However, when I order the "Contractor Grade" tape I expect to get a tape that has "Contracto Grade" just like the picture. However, what I got just said 16' Maxsteel. Not sure if there's a difference but I'm a little peeved that you don't get what is shown.

This tap is a very good fit in the hand tap. I droped it off a 40 foot roof once, it cracked the housing but it still worked.
