Excellent portable jobsite tool storage November 10, 2007 L. Webley 15 out of 15 found this review helpful
I bought one of these early this year for work. I loaded it with 150' of extension cords, 150' of air hose, my skillsaw, framing nailer and all the small items I use every day and I roll it right to my job site, sometimes over rough terrain.
It has held up excellently, with not a single shortcoming. The top is well designed and can be used as a portable cut stand, just make a cut table and mount it however you like.
This thing is a beast and an excellent investment.
EDIT:
I've been using this as a cut table and tool storage for over 2 years now and it still works great. Some numnutz did cut through the lid a year ago with a skillsaw, but a little silicone and it was water tight again.
The price they're asking these days, $133, is absurd. I think I paid $60 for mine, and I see them at home depot all the time for $80...which they're well worth.
The new equestrian tack trunk.... November 9, 2007 Annecat (Santa Barbara, CA) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
Love this! I am using it at my barn as a tack trunk, and it is fabulous. The wheels and handle make it portable -- no lugging it about by lifting and carrying. It locks to keep my stuff where I put it, and the insert yellow top tray doubles as storage for smaller items (gloves, etc.) or as a grooming bucket.
Only hitch -- the first one shipped to me arrived broken -- it had not been adequately wrapped and padded for shipping, and the outer box had been dropped and torn. I received a replacement VERY quickly though, so I am happy!

I purchased this item about 3 years ago at Home Depot for about $55.
I use it as a tack trunk.
For about 1/5th the price, this trunk stores more than any horse trunk around my barn.
I love this thing. It's got a pull out handle and a pair of wheels that make it an absolute dream to move around.
The lid locks, which is helpful around a barn, and the thing holds a ton of stuff: large grooming tote, medical supplies, spare wraps and bandages, shampoos, wormers, saline bottles, fly spray, show sheen, boots (I've got a set of Lamicell front and back, Eskadon backs, 2 pair bell boots, Fibar boots, and more in there). I also use the yellow tool tray to store small extras like sponges, ointments, and gloves.
I would buy it again in a minute. For horse people it's a super SCORE!!!

Held up under shipment with UPS and Fed Ex. Wheels still attached. Really love it.
The best box for storage January 18, 2008 Kathleen Mclaughlin 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
The Stanley product is large yet handles easily due the balance, the wheels and the pull handle. I need a lockable, waterproof storage at the barn for my tack. This is big enough for my saddle and grooming supplies. The best feature is the price!
