| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Fast, easy cabinet installation with dual purpose clamping functions; two-way clamping for tightening and aligning face frames, pre-drilling placement guide for accurate pilot hole drilling and screw fastening. Includes pilot drill bit and non-marring pad protectors.
Amazon.com Cabinet installation can be a bear, but this clamp set makes it more than bearable. The unique design is like another pair of hands that grip while you align and tighten the stiles, pre-drill and fasten, and the clamps stay put through the entire process. The drill guides and pilot holes ensure that the 1/8-inch bit (included) hits the mark time after time. We like the professional quality: lightweight but rugged aluminum claws and alignment plates, protective rubber pads that won't mar your work, 1/2-inch diameter zinc-plated, cold-drawn steel screws with smooth Acme threads. The plastic handles even have grooves for a great grip. These clamps will work with stiles from 1-1/2 to 2 inches wide and up to an impressive 1-1/2 inches thick. We think it's well worth the price if you're working alone, whether you're a professional or a home do-it-yourselfer.--Kris Jensen-Van Heste

A Must Have January 27, 2000 Joseph Pasquale (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) 54 out of 56 found this review helpful
The cabinet claw clamps by pony are probably the most innovative kitchen cabinet installation tool on the market. These clamps make aligning cabinet stiles fairly simple with the perpendicular adjustment. They are very rigid and can often be your only support when hanging wall cabinets. A nice feature is they come with rubber padding to protect the cabinets. If you do kitchen installations like I do, you must have these clamps. They are well worth the fifty dollars.
Cabinet Installers take Note! February 10, 2003 David Merton (New Milford, CT) 22 out of 23 found this review helpful
Have you ever tried to install kitchen cabinets? How about by yourself? Uh huh. If you have then the brilliance of these clamps will be obvious. I wish I had invented them. You not only pull the cabinets together tight, but you are able to get the faces (stiles) even (flush). The only other thing you'll need is a drill bit made for the pilot hole. A must have.
Must have for Kitchen Cabinet Install March 9, 2005 M. Herring (Seattle, WA) 12 out of 13 found this review helpful
Did my own kitchen cabinets and these clamps are well worth the money. They hold the cabinet together while making sure they are flush together. Impossible to do with other clamps. Only wish there were similar clamps for cabinets that are offset by 30 degrees.
Pony Clamps were a great addition to my toolbox March 30, 2000 17 out of 20 found this review helpful
I recently purchased a pair of pony clamps and as a professional trim carpenter I give them 5 stars. I believe that they would be a valuable asset to anyone who installs cabinets.
These work Great July 8, 2006 K. C. Duheme 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I purchased these clamps as I install Kitchens and thought these would work great. I have used them a couple of times and found them to do there job. There is a very small learning curve-i.e. not to tighten them up all the way befor making all adjustments-but other then that they are very good quality, and work like they should.
